Let’s talk about the shoes at Bus Stop boutique

Want to add a little pep to your step? A trip to Bus Stop in Queen Village is a must. Since 2007, the trendy boutique has been wowing customers with an impressive selection of designer shoes from Milan, Tokyo, London and more.

Shop owner Elena Brennan is originally from the U.K. and first came to Philly 30 years ago, importing a killer passion for fashion:

“I knew there was a need for a designer shoe boutique in Philly, as I would always get stopped on the street and people would ask ‘Where did you get your shoes from?’” Brennan rememers. “Nine times out of ten they weren’t from Philly. I would find the best shoe shops on my travels.”

In 2007, Brennan opened Bus Stop boutique on Fabric Row, gaining a reputation in Philly and beyond for quality, voguish footwear.

“It was just a matter of time and finding the right spot,” she says. “My mission has always been to make women feel different, stand out in a crowd and fill a void by offering something that wasn’t there before.”

Just in time for the shop’s 10th anniversary, Brennan has launched her fourth line of women’s oxfords, theBus Stop X Capsule Collection, which is inspired by the elements.

“The elements are shocking and striking, mystical and seductive, strong and powerful, enchanting and beautiful. I want my customers to feel this way when they rock a pair of my oxfords,” Brennan muses.

And how exactly can one “rock” a pair of oxfords? Brennan reveals that these classics are versatile enough for work and play:

“I love this look with a black dress, a business suit or simply with a pair of jeans. I love the menswear aesthetic of an oxford shoe with a feminine twist.”

Bus Stop is located at 727 S. 4th St.
