Playing the Field: Kris Humphries is a jerk, Axford’s letter

Kris Humphries.

If you missed Nets forward Kris Humphries’ Funny or Die debut over the weekend you missed a true gem. It was some of his best acting work since “Kourtney and Kim take New York”
and the time he pretended he was excited about re-signing with New Jersey. (Be warned, the video includes some NSFW language.)

Kris Humphries is a Douchebag from Kris Humphries

The irony is that I think Humphries would make an excellent Bill Laimbeer-esque heel. He just needs to take a few more flops and clothesline Kevin Durant. I see tremendous potential in this strategy. Brooklyn Brawler? Come on, it’s perfect. Here’s a video for Humphries to study up for next season:

John Axford is very polite

Brewers closer John Axford blew his first save of the season (and 49 straight dating back to last season), but instead of facing the media he skipped out on them and left a note. But unlike Mark Sanchez, he had a good excuse. His wife started to go into labor, so he bailed to go to the hospital. Check out the nice note he left behind:

My favorite part is the ending where he writes “Cliche … cliche … another cliche.” That pretty much sums up every post-game press conference as well.
