Open wide for ‘scientifically formulated’ Sex Cereal

Start your day off right with a few tablespoons of, no, not Lucky Charms or Frosted Flakes. We’re talking Sex Cereal. The “scientifically formulated” blends are made specifically for men and women to enhance their libido.

It might sound a bit nutty, but creator, president and CEO Peter Ehrlich says these all-natural foods are things that people have been eating for centuries to spice up their love lives — only this time, they’ve gathered the best ingredients and combined them in an easy-to-eat snack. We talked to Ehrlich about how he came up with the idea for the cereal and what happens if you eat the other gender’s mix.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?

I walked to into a vegetarian vegan fair. You know vegetarians and vegans take themselves very serious. Everything was straightforward and pedantic. There was no humor. I came out of that vegan fair thinking, “Wouldn’t it be great if we created a cereal that would be great for your sexual health?”

It had to be different for men and women because biologically men and women are different. If I didn’t gather a team of experts, it wouldn’t make sense because men need testosterone support and women need estrogen support.

What is the difference between the men’s and women’s blends?

When you think of Viagra, it creates a vascular effect so a man can get what he wants. The cereal has camu camu, which has highest concentration of vitamin C in the world, and vitamin C is very vascular. Every ingredient in the men’s cereal has to do with testosterone and vascular support. The women’s cereal is blended for hormonal balance and estrogen support. … In order to have a good sex life, your estrogen and your hormones have to be at healthy levels, and the ingredients in Sex Cereal are all formulated to provide those levels.

What would happen if you ate the opposite sex’s cereal?

You would become bisexual. Just kidding. Nothing would happen. Again, it’s a health food. If you’re not with a partner, it’s not going to make you horny, just like Viagra isn’t going to make you horny. It just nourishes everything under the belt.

Is it scientifically proven to work?

We hired a great team of nutritionists and quality control (researchers). If you Googled any one of those ingredients and then put the words and then sex after it, you would see how any of it affects your sex life.

What happens if you eat more than the suggested three tablespoons?

It’s a potent cereal. You would feel a buzz. The male cereal has bee pollen. You can’t eat too much bee pollen without feeling it in the back of your throat. The best way to eat sex cereal is to sprinkle it on. If you eat three tablespoons with some Greek yogurt, that’s 27 grams of protein.
