A man was shot and killed in Overbrook this afternoon.
The victim, 24, was shot twice in the chest on 55th and Hunter streets at 1:41 p.m. He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:07 p.m.
The suspect is described as a thin, five-feet-seven black man with a dark complexion and goatee wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, and black Nike sneakers. He was armed with a silver revolver.
