Man sought for double stabbing in Gayborhood

A man went on a stabbing spree early Saturday in the Gayborhood, police said.

Two victims were reportedly stabbed —one at 13th and Walnut and one onthe 1200 block of St. James Place, where the Voyeur nightclub is located.

Police listed one suspect for both stabbings.

No motive was listed beyond an “altercation” and no arrests were reported.

Police responded to the scene at 4 a.m. on Saturday, where a 31-year-old man had been stabbed in the lower abdomen.

The victim “stated to Police that he was stabbed …before becoming unresponsive,” the police report said.

That victim was transported toHahnemann Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Police then found a second victim, a 27-year-old male, who was receiving treatment at Jefferson Hospital.

The second victim said he was stabbed in the lower abdomen after an altercation on the 1200 block of St. James Place with the suspect, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 23 years old,5’6″, with a medium build, wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and a caramel colored jacket.
