A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train at the Race-Vine station late Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The incident involved a southbound train on the Broad Street Line at about 4:30 p.m., according to Philly Voice.
The 53-year-old man, who has not been identified, stumbled, hit a pole and fell on the tracks, NBC10 reported. The man, who police said was blind, was pronounced dead on the scene.
