McDonald’s clerk fondled by drive-thru window customer

A Drexel Hill man, 23, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Thursday after he walked up to a McDonald’s drive-thru window and fondled the clerk.

Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said Michael Jenkins, of the 700 block of Fairfax Road, flirted with the 31-year-old Philadelphia woman working at the window of the fast food restaurant at 801 N. Lansdowne Road.

Jenkins, who was with another guy, said he would come back and pick her up at 6 p.m. “and show her a good time,” Chitwoodsaid.

She ignored Jenkins, who grabbed her breast before walking away.

She pulled away, slammed the door and told her manager, Chitwoodsaid.

The manager called police, who found him across the street at a bar on Lansdowne Avenue.

When apprehended, Jenkins said, “She wanted me.”

“He said he was a ladies man, ‘So I just reached out and grabbed her,'” Chitwood said. “He’s a bum. He’s out, he’s drunk and acting like an A–hole so he was charged up.”

Jenkins was charged with indecent assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
