Video of an adult and a child engaged in a sex act was allegedly found on the cell phone and personal computer of an NYPD sergeant.

UPDATE: An NYPD Sergeant arrested for possessing child pornography was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court this afternoon.

The criminal complaint details the execution of a search warrant at Sergeant Alberto Randazzo’s home on February 15.

According to the complaint, police found various photographs and videos featuring an adult woman engaged in sexual acts with a male infant, sometimes estimated to be one or two years old.

In 11 video recordings of a “cyber chat session,” the woman is reportedly responding to instructions from a male voice, which police say matches Randazzo’s voice.

The complaint also describes two photographs featuring a female infant, and two videos involving girls between the ages of eight and 10 engaging in sexual acts with an adult male.

Randazzo is being charged with 11 counts of a use of a child in a sexual performance, 23 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, and 23 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.

The maximum sentence he could receive if convicted is 15 years in prison.

Bail was set at $40,000 bond or $20,000 cash. His next court date is March 5th.

Metro’s original story is below.

36-year-old Alberto Randazzo was also charged with Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child.

Cops say he had  internet porn on his cell phone and personal computer, including video of an unknown adult and a child engaging in a sex act.

The Internal Affairs Bureau reportedly does not know the identities of the child or the adult in the video, nor the age of the child.

Randazzo was assigned to the Midtown North Precinct, police say.
