A homeless man accused of stealing expensive metal fixtures from a Bronx cemetery was arrested Tuesday night.

Louis Peduto, 56, removed brass door handles and air vents from St. Raymond’s Cemetery at 1201 Balcom Ave. on Monday morning, police said. After being confronted by a security guard, Peduto fled without the items, police added.

The suspect had allegedly ripped off more than $160,000 worth of fixtures from more than 60 mausoleums over the course of the weekend and Monday.

Police released a photo of Peduto on Tuesday afternoon. He was arrested later when police saw him during a patrol inside 3178 E. Tremont Ave.

Charges include grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of burglar tools and possession of a controlled substance.
