Police: $10,000 reward for driver who hit off-duty cop and ran
Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a driver and his passenger who struck an off-duty officer in Kensington on Wednesday and drove away.
Officer Michael Brady, 28, was struck about 2 a.m. by a dark-colored four-door sedan as he crossed the street at the 2300 block of East Cumberland Street.
Surveillance footage shows the driver speed off, then abruptly stop. A woman gets out and inspects the car’s condition, gets back in and the two leave the scene.
Brady was left in the middle of the street, bleeding from his head.
The five-year veteran received treatment and is expected to be released Thursday.
