Ridley teacher charged with buying students beer
A 33-year-old Ridley High School English teacher is in trouble with the law and her employer after she allegedly bought beer for students last month.
Katherine Leigh Preusser, 33, was arrested by Pennsylvania state troopers in Middletown on March 23 after she was found traveling with two 17-year-old students in a car that contained empty beer cans, a bong, marijuana and unidentified pills, the Delaware County Times reports.
The Ridley School District suspended Preusser last week pending an investigation.
Preusser was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors after a 17-year-old girl failed a Breathalyzer test.
