Cops say they have caught the man wanted for groping girls and women in Brooklyn laundromats.

According to police, cops arrested Bay Shore resident Lowell Britt, 27, and charged him with persistent sexual abuse and public lewdness.

Metro’s original story is below:

Police are searching for a man who forcibly touched five female victims, some as young as 14 years old, inside laundromats in the Bushwick and Canarsie neighborhoods of Brooklyn.

In each of the incidents, the man enters the laundromat, exposes himself and rubs himself against the unsuspecting victim, police said. The suspect targeted a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old on March 18. About an hour later, he targeted another 14-year-old girl.

About 9 a.m. on March 30, the man targeted a 43-year-old woman. He then approached a 32-year-old woman just 20 minutes later.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-2 and weighing about 200 lbs.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
