A traffic stop in Middletown, Del. on Saturday afternoon led to two narcotics arrests and the confiscation of more than 700 bags of heroin stamped with the logos “Death Injection” and “High Heat,” according to Delaware State Police.

Troopers patrolling the SR-1 turnpike near Biddles Toll Plaza around 2 p.m. pulled over a Ford Taurus that was driving over the speed limit, investigators said.

Officers allegedly found passenger Kyle Bitler, 25, to be in possession of 37 bags of heroin stamped with the brand name “Death Injection.”

Police said a search of the vehicle turned up 681 more bags of heroin stamped “Death Injection” and “High Heat” with a total estimated street value of $1,000.

Investigators were allegedly able to connect those drugs to a second passenger, 24-year-old Alan Watkins.

Both men were arrested without incident.

Bitler, of Ellendale, is charged with heroin possession, while Watkins, of Bridgeville, is charged with heroin possession and possession with the intent to deliver.

Bitler was released on $5,000 unsecured bond and Watkins was released after posting $7,000 secured bond.

The 39-year-old Taurus driver, whose identity has not been released, was also taken into custody and charged with driving with a revoked license and speeding.

He was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the incident.
