Menino was awarded an honorary degree by Harvard University during the school’s commencement Thursday. If that wasn’t enough, he has also been hanging with Oprah Winfrey, the popular TV personality, who delivered the commencement address.

Menino’s office tweeted pictures of him with Harvard President Drew Faust before Thursday’s ceremony and also of him at a dinner Wednesday night with Winfrey. Menino, who was awarded a doctor of laws honorary degree, said he was “honored” to be at Harvard’s commencement.
