Philly man charged in South Jersey homicide
A Philadelphia man is charged with fatally stabbing his estranged wife’s boyfriend inside the victim’s Pine Hill apartment Monday morning.
Stefan Curry-Burkett, 29, is charged with murder and felony murder, Gloucester Township Patch reports.
Curry-Burkett is accused of entering the apartment of Michael Cogan, 26, at about 5 a.m. through a sliding-glass balcony door and assaulting and fatally stabbing Cogan, who reportedly was dating Curry-Burkett’s wife.
The homicide occurred in the 2600 building of The Pines apartment complex, located on Blackwood Clementon Road.
Initial reports indicated two people were stabbed in the incident.
Curry-Burkett was being held in Camden County Jail awaiting arraignment on the murder charges today.
