Boys arrested for allegedly shooting sister, 8, with pellet gun
Philadelphia police on Tuesday arrested two young boys for allegedly shooting their 8-year-old sister with a pellet gun in North Philadelphia.
Investigators said the incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. on the 1900 block of North Etting Street.
The 8-year-old girl was shot once in the chest with a pellet gun, allegedly by her two brothers, aged 10 and 12.
The young victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital and transferred to Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where she was listed in stable condition.
The two brothers, whose identities are not being released due to their age, were taken into custody.
There is not yet word on what charges will be filed against the duo.
