A truck carrying a load of Michelob Ultra beer crashed into the guardrail of the northbound I-93 Leverett connector in Boston this afternoon, forcing its cab to dangle ominously over the cars below.

Twitter user @Mdecast was one of many to post a photo of the alarming scene online.

Following the accident, officials closed that portion of the highway, but reopened a single lane at 2:55 p.m.

The Boston Fire Department said the driver has been taken to the hospital, but it is unclear what kind of injuries he or she sustained. There is no word yet on what caused the accident.

“The cause of accident will be investigated by Mass State Police. Obviously, expect delays heading North on 93,” Boston Fire tweeted at 3:07 p.m.

No other injuries or damage was reported.
