Edward Sheed sentenced to 30-60 years over cell phone shooting
Philadelphia man Edward Sheed was today sentenced to up to 60 years in prison for the 2011 shooting of Marvin Brown who is now confined to a gurney, said officials with the district attorney’s office.
Sheed, 22, shot Brown at close range multiple times over a cell phone. Brown was left a quadriplegic. He testified against his shooter.
Sheed has been convicted of attempted murder and other related charges in July.
