Police seek man who stole batteries, gasoline from bean farm
Delaware State Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole batteries and gasoline from a Harbeson bean farm sometime between Aug. 30 and Sept. 10.
Investigators said a man in the early morning hours drove through a bean field on the 2000 block of Beaver Dam Road.
There, he allegedly removed batteries from a tractor and forklift used for farm operations, then cut a lock off a gas pump and stole an unknown amount of gasoline.
The suspect is described as a white male with a slender build, last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
