Early morning shooting injures one in Kensington
A man is hospitalized in serious condition after he was shot Saturday morning in Kensington.
Police said the victim, 49, was shortly after 7 a.m. shot once in each leg and once in the buttocks on the 400 block of East Clearfield Street.
Medics took the man to Temple University Hospital, where he was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Investigators said no weapon was recovered, and no arrests have yet been made.
A flash description of the alleged shooter described the suspect as a 6-foot-2-inch tall black male with braided hair wearing all gray clothing.
