Three charged in Queen Village, Point Breeze robberies
Philadelphia police arrested two men and a woman in connection with a string of armed robberies in South Philadelphia in late October.
Police arrested Nicholas Pompeii, 19, of 1900 block of South 17th Street, and Sophorn Ouch, 28, of the 1600 block of South Bancroft Street, on Tuesday night, according to police. Keenan Gentry, 20, of the 1800 block of South Bancroft Street, was arrested Wednesday night, NBC10 reports.
Pompeii was arrested on the 1700 block of South Chadwick Street and Ouch in front of her home. Police picked up Gentry at 32nd and Diamond, according to the NBC10 report.
The three robberies occurred in the Queen Village and Point Breeze neighborhoods on Oct. 17, Oct. 19 and Oct. 22. Pedestrians were targeted in each case.
Gentry was the gunman in each robbery, according to police.
Police last week released mugshots of the two male suspects, as well as surveillance video connected to each of the robberies. Ouch was not identified by police at the time, but a woman was shown using a credit card stolen in the Oct. 22 robbery at a Wal-Mart.
The robberies occurred Oct. 17 on the 700 block of South Fourth Street, Oct. 19 on the 700 block of Passyunk Avenue and Oct. 22 on the 1300 block of South Fifth Street.
