Skinny dippers in Scandinavia, beware. Men in Denmark and Sweden are being warned about fish infamous for biting on testicles.

The Pacu, native to South America, was found by a fisherman in the Danish/Swideish straight of Oresund, according to experts at the Natural History Museum of Denmark and as reported by CNN.

The fish is known as a “friendly cousin” of the piranha. The Pacu has large teeth, though they are not as sharp as the piranha’s. According to the museum’s experts, the Pacu’s teeth are still fully capable of severing fishing lines and fingers.

Pacus tend to attack a man’s testicles because the organ reminds them of their favorite snack – nuts (all puns intended).

“Amateur aquarium owners and fish farmers are “the usual suspects” when we meet fish where they do not belong,” the museum’s Peter Rask Moller said.

No one really knows how the fish made their way to Scandinavia but Museum officials said they will perform a genetic examination on the Pacu to learn more about the fish. While they do this, they advise “anyone choosing to bathe in the Oresund these days had best keep their swimsuits well tied.”
