Two teens extremely critical in two separate shootings
Two men are critical after two separate shootings yesterday.
Officers responding to the 2000 block of Mifflin Street in Point Breeze around 4 p.m. yesterday found a man, 18, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where is is in extremely critical condition.
Around 9:33 p.m. a young man, 17, was shot in the head by one of his friends when they were
“messing around with a gun” in a home on the 3900 block Elser Street in Nicetown, police said.
He is also in extremely critical condition at Temple University Hospital. His friend, also 17, is in custody, but police have not yet filed charges.
