Woman shot in Gray’s Ferry home invasion

Police are investigating a Gray’s Ferry home invasion this morning.

A woman, 26, was shot in the back in a home shortly before 7 a.m. on the 1500 block of South Stanley Street. She is in stable condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

A second woman was reportedly bound during the attempted robbery.

Police so far say they are looking for one light-complected heavyset male, but an earlier radio broadcast said they were looking for two masked men.
