Man arrested for questioning in death of Reyna Aguirre aka Rosemary Rivera
Jorge Aldea, 23, has been arrested for allegedly murdering Luis Chevere on the 100 block of Westmoreland Street Nov. 25, according to police.
He was also reportedly wanting for questioning in the recent slaying of Reyna Aguirre-Alonso, also known as Rosemary Hernandez-Rivera, who was gunned down Monday in the North Philadelphia corner store where she worked. Friends and family said that she had witnessed Chevere’s murder and identified Aldea as a possible shooter to police as recently as the day she was killed.
Aldea was taken into custody yesterday in Bronx, New York after what authorities called an “intense manhunt,” involving the Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force, Philadelphia and New York City FBI agents and the NYPD.
