Police in Jersey City are looking for a hack cab driver who allegedly stabbed a passenger early Friday morning because no one in the car would tell him where to drop them off, according to a report from The Jersey Journal.

Investigators said the suspect gave a $10 ride to five people he met at a club in Union City shortly after 2 a.m. He became increasingly angry as the passengers failed to give him a drop-off location, according to police.

Authorities said that, after driving around with no destination, the suspect pulled over and ordered the passengers out of the vehicle, but one 19-year-old man refused to exit. That’s when the driver allegedly pulled the man out of the car through a rear door and stabbed him in the back and thigh.

Witnesses reportedly knew the alleged attacker only by a nickname, but police have identified a possible suspect. No arrests have yet been made.
