Baby dies after fall from window

A three-year-old girl fell out of a window at 53-01 32nd Avenue in Queens Sunday afternoon, police reported.

Police received a 911 call at 2:33 p.m. and reported to the scene to find the baby on the ground outside. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and pronounced dead approximately three hours later.

 

The baby’s name was Rusroshi Barua, and she lived in apartment 5R.

 

The police do not suspect criminal wrong-doing, but an investigation is on-going.
