VIDEO: 23-year-old robbed walking down a Franklinville street

Police are looking for man in his early to mid-20s who robbed a 23-year-old man walking down a street in Franklinville.

The victim was walking south on the 3200 block of North Broad Street around 5 p.m. on March 5 when he was approached by an unknown man asking for money, police said.

The beggar then tapped his pocket and said he had a gun. The victim reached into his backpack and gave the beggar his wallet.

The beggar then put his arm around the complainant and continued to walk with him until the complainant broke free and ran for help.

The wallet contained $20 and personal identification.

The beggar is described as a 6-foot-tall black male in his early to mid-20s with a thin build.
