Bucks County woman returns $30K found in donated clothes
The old children’s saying “finders keepers, losers weepers” apparently does not hold much weight with one Bucks County woman.
Carol Sutor, of Bristol, returned $30,000 she says she found in clothing a cousin had donated after her elderly relative died to Sutor’s mother, phillyburbs.com reports.
Sutor says she found bank envelopes containing $100 bills adding up to $30,000 in the woman’s clothes while going through them.
Sutor’s cousin let her keep $1,000 for her honesty.
