The NYPD Special Victims Squad is looking for a suspect after two women were attacked in Bushwick.

The first attacked occurred on Friday, February 1. A 39-year-old woman was attacked from behind on Woodbine Street.

Her attacker threw her to the ground and groped her over her clothing.

On that occasion, the victim fought off the attacker and he ran away.

The second victim was a 37-year-old woman who had just entered her apartment building.

The attacker came at her from behind, held something to the her back and demanded money. After going through her pockets and discovering she had no money, the attacker raped her.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, around 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10, and approximately 165 pounds. He was last seen in a gray hoodie and black jeans.

The police have provided surveillance video that they say depicts the suspect around the time of the second attack, and are requesting the public’s help in locating him.
