Police are looking for two men who allegedly tied up the occupants of a Grays Ferry house Sunday morning and stole a car during a home invasion on the 1300 block of South 30th Street.

Investigators said two gunmen wearing dark clothing and face masks burst into the home around 4:30 a.m. and awoke two men, aged 67 and 63, who were sleeping upstairs.

The suspects allegedly ordered the men at gunpoint to a second floor rear bedroom, using an electrical cord from a fan to tie them up and telling them not to move or they would be killed.

Police said the men then ransacked the house, coming back upstairs to again warn the men not to move.

The suspects allegedly fled in an unknown direction, making away with multiple flat screen televisions, video game systems, cameras, laptops, a wallet with various ID cards, $1,200 in cash and a black 2003 Toyota Camry.

The victims were eventually able to untie themselves and call 911.

They reported no major injuries.

Police around 12:20 p.m. recovered the stolen car sitting unattended in a lot located at 1300 S. Grove St.

Investigators said no arrests have yet been made.

The suspects are described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall black male with a medium build and a 5-foot-7-inch tall black male with a thin build.

Both men were last seen dressed in black clothing and wearing dark-colored face masks.

No arrests have yet been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, or to submit an anonymous tip by dialing 215-686-TIPS (8477), texting PPD TIP (773847), emailing tips@phillypolice.com or by filling out this online form.
