Man injured in Hartranft shooting
A 38-year-old man was hospitalized in critical but stable condition Sunday after police said he was shot Saturday night in the Hartranft section of North Philadelphia.
Investigators said the victim was shortly before 7:30 p.m. shot once in the left side of the groin near 8th and Diamond streets.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where a doctor placed him in critical but stable condition.
There was not yet word on a motive Sunday morning, and no arrests had yet been made.
