A group of robbers have been holding people up at gunpoint in the Bronx, the NYPD says.

The first case occurred at 9:30 a.m. on June 21 in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. A female, 40, was walking to work when she was approached by a male suspect who pointed a gun at her head. Another suspect snatched the bag from her shoulder, while two more people acted as lookouts. There were no reported injuries to the victim.

Two other gunpoint robberies have occurred by the same people. In each case, a male suspect brandishes a black firearm while demanding money and then fleeing in a grey vehicle driven by a female accomplice.

The most recent robberies happened on the same day. The first took place at 6:50 a.m. on Sedgwick Avenue and Perot Street. A female, 49, was robbed at gunpoint.

The second happened an hour later. A female, 22, was robbed in the vicinity of East 173 Street and Mount Eden Parkway.

Police describe the main suspect as a man with a slim build, last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, dark pants, sunglasses and a red hat.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the sketch or who might have other information about the crime can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS, visit the Crime Stoppers website, or text their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
