Cops are searching for a man they say shot and wounded five people in Brooklyn on Saturday, police said.

Curtis Peterson, 23, was with a group of men near 191 Menahan St. in Bushwick about 2 p.m. when he allegedly pulled out a gun and fired the shots, police said.

Two women, ages 37 and 52, and three men, ages 22, 45 and 67 were injured in the shooting. Two were taken to Brookdale Hospital, two were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, and one was taken to Kings County Hospital, police said. All were listed in stable condition.

A 9mm Taurus semiautomatic handgun was recovered at the scene, police said.

The shooting may have been an act of revenge, The New York Post reports. The 45-year-old victim had recently filed a police report against Peterson for throwing a milkshake at his 18-year-old daughter at a nearby McDonald’s, where she works.

Peterson is described as being 5-foot-10, 160 lbs. with brown eyes and short black hair.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
