NJ man charged in 3 Bucks County bank robberies

A New Jersey man is behind bars on $3 million bail after he allegedly robbed three Bucks County banks Thursday.

A New Jersey man out on parole for a 2009 bank robbery was arrested Thursday on charges alleging he robbed three Bucks County banks earlier in the day.

Police allege Luke Radick, 26, of Howell, used the same taxi to stop at three banks he attempted to rob Thursday, Phillyburbs.com reports.

Radick made off with only a small amount of money from one of the three banks he targeted for robberies, for which he allegedly penned a demand note on the back of a bail release form, authorities said.

The banks Radick robbed or attempted to rob are Sovereign Bank on the 1400 block of Street Road in Bensalem, Sovereign Bank on Main Street in Yardley and a Wells Fargo branch in Morrisville, according to the report. All three robberies occurred between noon and 2 p.m.

Radick is being held on $3 million bail. He was released on bail from Bucks County Prison on Wednesday after he was arrested for passing a bad check.

Radick was armed with a shotgun when he robbed a bank in Stroudsburg, Pa., in 2009.
