UPDATE, 3:45 P.M.: Two women and one man have been charged with murdering 40-year-old Frank Zarzycki and using a hatchet to chop off his head, arms and legs and throwing it all into the Schuylkill River, police said today in a press conference.

Police said it was a botched robbery. They’ve charged Stephanie Foulke, Keith Tolbert and Angel Weston.

Zarzycki was visiting an apartment on 11th and Locust streets when the trio allegedly tried to rob him. He was beaten and hit with a Taser-like device. Police said, in a panic, the suspects cut off the victim’s body parts, put them in a bag and then threw the bag into the river. The apartment is known for prostitution, police said today.
