Police link Forest Park rape suspect to five other attacks

1711-13 102 PCT RAPE

The man who used a stun gun on a 69-year-old woman before raping her in Forest Park last month has been connected to five other sexual assaults over the past two years, police said.

Police released a new sketch of the suspect who allegedly tased the woman, pushed her to the ground and raped her on Aug. 26.

The same man is believed to be responsible for the attempted rape of a 23-year-old woman in March. In that incident, the suspect approached the victim from behind, struck her with a stun gun and sexually assaulted her.

In November 2012, the suspect approached a woman walking her dog and touched her with his exposed genitalia, police said.

There have been at least three other attacks dating back to 2011, including the attempted rape of a 13-year-old girl, police said.

All of the incidents have occurred in broad daylight.

The suspect is being described as a white male, between 30 and 40 years of age, about 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 with light brown hair. He is clean shaven and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black sweat pants.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
