The manager of a Rite Aid drugstore in Chester was gunned down inside the business Thursday night.

The shooting happened about 10 p.m. at the Rite Aid at Ninth Street and Highland Avenue, according to reports. The victim, who was shot in his head, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is being investigated as a robbery and homicide, NBC10 reports. There were customers inside the store at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.

Chester police released surveillance images of the suspects in the hope the public can help identify the man and woman believed to be responsible for killing the store manager.

Police have not yet publicly identified the victim.
