VIDEO: Police seeking Franklinville robbery, shooting suspects
Philadelphia police are seeking two suspects in a robbery and shooting in the city’s Franklinville neighborhood on Monday.
The crime happened about 9:15 p.m. along the 3700 block of North 10th Street.
One suspect stole an iPod Nano from the victim as the victim approached the corner of 10th Street and Erie Avenue. A second suspect, who was hanging out with two other males on the intersection’s northeast corner, fired a gun at the victim as he chased after the robber.
Surveillance video captured the second suspect firing the handgun toward the robbery victim.
The suspect who stole the iPod is described as a black male of a medium complexion, approximately 18 years old and 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie.
Police described the suspect who fired the gun as a black male who is approximately 18 to 21 years old. He was wearing a navy blue hoodie with white letters on the front and tan Dickies-style pants.
