Police ID mother, son killed in ‘suspicious’ Wissinoming fire
Police have released the identities of a mother and son who were killed Saturday morning after what has been labeled a “suspicious” fire tore through their Wissinoming apartment.
Investigators said the blaze broke out shortly before 9 a.m. on the 4600 block of Howell Street.
The fire’s origin has been listed as “suspicious.”
Two bodies were recovered from the charred apartment.
Authorities have identified the victims as Atlanta Deveney, 35, and her son Elijah Rosado, 11.
Neither victim’s cause of death has yet been determined pending autopsies.
Police are continuing to investigate, but said Sunday they have no information regarding a possible suspect, and that no arrests have yet been made.
