VIDEO: Police searching for men who robbed Cedarbrook sneaker store
Police are searching for two men who snatched $6,000 worth of merchandise on Oct. 2 from a Cedarbrook sneaker store.
Today investigators released a video of the robbery, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. at the Sneaker Villa on the 1600 block of Wadsworth Avenue in Northwest Philadelphia.
In the video the two men are seen collecting shirts and jackets as if they were shopping, while a Pontiac sedan with possible damage to the passenger side front fender driven by a third suspect waited in front of the store.
After stashing several brown Levi jackets and gray Nike hooded sweatshirts valued at $6,080 on one rack, the men suddenly grabbed the clothes and ran into the waiting vehicle.
Both men are described as about 20 years old.
One had a stocky build and wore a black sleeveless T-shirt, camouflage pants, dark colored sneakers and dark colored baseball cap with a red brim.
The second had a medium build and wore a dark colored T-shirt with a white colored emblem on the front, blue jeans, dark colored baseball cap and dark colored sneakers.
The vehicle was described as a silver or gray late-model Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville.
