Police intercept ‘Molly’ shipped through Logan Airport to Milford man
A pound of the drug known as “Molly” was shipped from China through Logan Airport to a Milford man who was arrested by police in a sting operation.
State police said the package containing the drug was intercepted at Logan Airport. It had been shipped from China and had a delivery address of Milford.
On Wednesday, a state police trooper posed as a FedEx driver and made a controlled delivery to the Milford address. The unidentified owner of the package came to pick it up and he was arrested on drug charges, state police said.
“Molly,” which is the drug MDMA, has been the subject of many recent police investigations after multiple people overdosed after taking the drug, including a woman who apparently took it while at the House of Blues earlier this year.
