Bundle up, boys: Men in Kilts to start shoveling snow
This winter, Boston’s Men in Kilts window washers are stepping off the ladder and onto snow-covered sidewalks.
The Vancouver-based window washing company opened its Boston branch in April, supplying the city with kilt-clad technicians.
According to a press release issued Wednesday, the local franchise is one of five Men In Kilts locations to add snow removal to its list of services, the others being New Jersey, Seattle, Vancouver and Edmonton.
“No one really likes shoveling snow and with the amount of snow we usually get here in Boston, we are hoping we will be very busy this winter,” said Boston franchise owner Judy Briggs.
Boston gets an average of about 43.7 inches of snow each winter season, according to the NOAA.
“It was always our vision to add multiple services under the Men In Kilts brand. Bringing snowing removal to these five cities is a great way to provide service to our customers year-round,” said CEO Tressa Wood. “We have the ability to adapt our services depending on the requirements of our markets quite easily. I think all our locations will be very successful with snow removal, as we’ll deliver the same great service we pride ourselves on.”
