Police arrested and charged a man suspected of assaulting a police officer while being questioned about a forcible touching incident in Park Slope. He was also charged in connection with two forcible touching incidents in the same neighborhood.

Jesse Dailey, 34, was charged with felony assault, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and assault for attacking the officer this week, police said.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the officer’s shoulder was dislocated in a struggle with Dailey on Monday afternoon when she stopped and questioned him. When he tried to run away, the officer grabbed him; after her shoulder was dislocated, Dailey managed to flee.

At the time, a good Samaritan chased Dailey but lost him, Kelly said.

Kelly said he was apprehended after that same witness saw Dailey again Wednesday and took a photo of him. The Special Victims Squad eventually tracked Dailey down coming out of his house in Park Slope, Kelly said.

Dailey was also charged in two recent forcible touching incidents.

On Nov. 11, police said Dailey approached an 11-year-old girl walking in Park Slope from behind and squeezed her buttocks before fleeing.

In another incident Sept. 20, police said he approached two young girls, 10 and 11 years old, from behind. He rubbed against the 10-year-old before squeezing the buttocks of the 11-year-old and fleeing.

He was charged with two counts each of sexual abuse and forcible touching and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child for the incidents.

On Wednesday, Kelly said Dailey was being investigated for four total incidents, but it remains to be seen whether he was the suspect in all of them.
