Video released of suspect who shot man outside Tompkins Houses

Tomkins Houses Shooting

Police are hoping surveillance video will lead them to the gunman who killed a 33-year-old man outside the Tompkins Houses in Bed-Stuy earlier this week.

Cory Goulbourne was shot outside 85 Tompkins Ave. shortly after 6 a.m. on Monday, police said. He was found with two gunshot wounds to his leg and torso, and pronounced dead on arrival at Kings County Hospital.

Police released a video on Thursday that shows Goulbourne exiting a building and being followed by the suspect, who is seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The suspect then shoots Goulbourne and then flees back toward the building.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
