Delaware man arrested for 6th DUI
Thomas Kelly, 59, of Clayton, Delaware, was arrested Saturday after state troopers spotted him driving out of a trailer park drunk.
Delaware state troopers were called 12:42 p.m. on reports of a drunk and disorderly man at the Holly Hills trailer park. When they arrived they saw Kelly driving out of the park in a 2001 Chevrolet Venture and pulled him over.
Kelly was cooperative after being pulled over, but then shifted his car into drive. A trooper was able to reach into the car and after a brief struggle turn it off. Kelly was also found to have a crack pipe in his sock.
He was arrested and charged with sixth offense DUI, offensive touching of a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to have insurance identification in possession. He is currently in police custody.
