Man allegedly beats in MBTA bus window
An enraged East Boston allegedly punched in the window of an MBTA bus after he was told it was filled to capacity, according to Transit Police.
Thomas Carsuo, 55, is due in court Monday to be charged with malicious destruction of property, assault on a police officer and receiving stolen property.
According to Transit Police, Caruso was informed he could not board a bus near Maverick Square Station, and would have to wait for the next one. He allegedly began to “scream and kick at the bus windows” causing a window to break and form a spider web crack.
While the officers attempted to to place Caruso into the cruiser he allegedly became belligerent and kicked an officer in the thigh. Later, during the booking process, police said they discovered Caruso to have several items that still had security anti-theft devices from Marshall’s affixed to them.
