Kingsessing fire damages three row homes, displaces nine
Two families and a man were displaced by a fire in Kingsessing on Monday night.
The fire broke out along the 5400 block of Belmar Terrace about 10:45 p.m., CBS Philly reported. It damaged three row homes.
No one was injured in the destructive blaze, which Philadelphia firefighters battled in subzero temperatures.
The fire originated in a home where a man lived alone. Two families totaling eight people, including five children, from two adjoining homes also were displaced by the fire.
The Red Cross provided assistance to those left homeless.
