Police have announced that they have arrested two brothers in connection with multiple thefts adding up to more than $20,000 worth of high-tech merchandise stolen in three robberies.

Isiah Allen, 22, and Zakee Allen, 24, both of Philadelphia, allegedly robbed three stores in January and February.

The first alleged incident occurred on Jan. 10 when police say the Allens and one other suspect, reportedly identified by facial recognition software at the Real Time Crime Center as Shaquille Williams, entered a Verizon store at 17th and Market streets.

The three men allegedly cut the cords of display items and took two Apple iPads, five Apple iPhones and one Samsung Galaxy Note 3 before fleeing the store.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, the Allens allegedly entered a T-Mobile store in South Philadelphia at Broad Street and Snyder Avenue. Police say the men, armed with box-cutters, shoved a pregnant store employee and took $2,638 worth of iPads and phones.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, detectives determined that the prior two incidents were commit by the same suspects, police say.

Later that day, at about 3:45 p.m., police received a report of a robbery at a T-Mobile store at 15th and Walnut streets.

Police saw the Allens enter a white Dodge sedan and stopped them on the 1000 block of Filbert Street, at which point both men fled the vehicle.

Isiah Allen was stopped and arrested at 10th and Ludlow streets, but Zakee Allen led police on a three-block foot pursuit before being stopped and arrested near 13th and Market streets.

Police say the total value of the items the Allens and their accomplice allegedly stole is $21,227.

Williams, 20, of Upper Darby, is still being sought by police.

Isiah Allen is charged with four counts of theft. Zakee Allen is charged with eight counts of theft and two counts of robbery.
