Olney man busted in hit and run that injured officer
Police released a photo of the 24-year-old Olney man who was arrested on March 7 for leaving the scene of a hit and run that involved a Philadelphia police lieutenant.
Kendall Davis allegedly struck an unmarked police car at 13th and Market streets. The police lieutenant operating the unmarked vehicle attempted to stop the vehicle, but Davis fled. Other marked vehicles responded but Davis managed to allude police until he came to a stop at Fifth and Oxford in North Philadelphia.
Davis exited his vehicle and fled into a warehouse. He was later caught. A second passenger was also apprehended.
The lieutenant sustained minor injuries and is seeking treatment, officials said.
Davis has been charged with driving under the influence, aggravated assault, fleeing police and other related offenses.
